EastEnders hunk who played Steven Beale completely unrecognisable in new movie role 5 years after quitting soap.

Former EastEnders actor Aaron Sidwell looks completely unrecognisable as he takes on his latest movie role.

The 34-year-old, who played Steven Beale on the BBC soap between 2007 and 2017, has transformed into an evil priest in the dark forth coming film Fyre Rises. The plot follows Priest who lures a debt-ridden former mercenary back into his former life in an exchange for a fresh start, should he complete his mission.

Aaron has taken to Instagram to give followers a glimpse of Priest and he looks like a disturbed villain similar to The Joker. Sporting a short cropped hairstyle, Aaron’s face is painted white as he winces chillingly into the camera.

One finger baring black nail points towards his teeth as a big cross earring hangs down on one side of his face against his animal print jacket.

He simply captioned the snap: “Coming Soon….#Priest @fyrerises”.

Former EastEnders star Ricky Grover, who played Anthony Cotton, will also star in the movie alongside Benidorm actor Jake Canuso.

Aaron first played EastEnders’ Steven Beale, the son of Cindy Beale and adoptive son of Ian Beale, in 2007 before departing only a year later.

The tearaway made a return to the Square in 2016 but met a deadly end. After many dramatic twists and turns, Stephen died of a cardiac arrest after he was violently shoved by Max Branning (Jake Wood) in 2017 and he left his newborn daughter Abi Branning behind.

Since leaving EastEnders Aaron appeared in Doctors playing a minor role in 2017, along with roles in West End and theatre productions, such as Macbeth and Henry V.

However, Fyre Rises is Aaron’s biggest movie role yet since waving Walford goodbye.
