Action-packed feature film, ‘Fyre Rises,’ has been nominated for Best Action Film/TV Series at the upcoming National Film Awards. The announcement was made earlier this week on the heels of winning ‘Best Action’ Film at the LIFF (London Independent Film Festival), positioning the film against some of the biggest names in the industry, including Netflix’s “Damsel,” ITV’s “Trigger Point,” Guy Ritchie’s “The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare,” and Hulu’s “Culprits.”
“We are thrilled to receive this nomination from the National Film Awards,” said Paul Knight, Director of ‘Fyre Rises’. “It is a testament to the hard work and creativity of our cast and crew, and it is an honour to stand alongside such outstanding productions. This nomination acknowledges the strength and impact of independent films in capturing audiences’ hearts and imaginations.”
‘Fyre Rises’ tells the gripping tale of Richard Fyre having tried to escape his violent past for 15 years when zealot crime lord Priest forces him back into action causing his past, present and future to collide. The film has been praised for its compelling narrative, rich character development, and high-octane action scenes, making it a standout entry in this year’s awards.
The producers of ‘Fyre Rises’ invite fans and supporters to help take this indie success story to the next level by voting in the upcoming National Film Awards. Votes can be cast online at: nationalfilmacademy.org
